Hello everybody,
as a Mac newbie I have a short question: Which is the best way to update software versions with regard to keeping the system (files) as clean as possible? (I'm talking about software which hasn't an option to automatically update.) Should I, when a new version is released, uninstall the old one first with a program like "AppZapper" oder simply replace the old file in my "Programs" folder with the new one? I'd like to keep my system files as clean as possible and although I know that OSX isn't nearly as bad as Windows, I'd like your opinion about the optimal way not leave trash from previous versions on my computer and in my system files. Thanks a lot in advance!
