i'm on AT&T. Whats the general consensus on the best shot on a pre order? Apple app? AT&T app? Or Loging directly onto the web site? Thx

Apple app. I am on ATT and I have used the Apple app the last 2 years.

No issues and received my phones in I-day

Order from Apple. That’s last couple of years have been bad for me when ordering from ATT. I would suggest the Apple app. It seems to have the most success

Hi, just a quick question. I'm based in the UK but i'll be in Miami around the time the iPhone 8 should go on preorder.

From previous launches, is there an option to pre order and pick up and pay in store? It will be a sim free version with no carrier. I don't want to have it shipped to the hotel as my UK credit card billing address would not match that of the hotel which could complicate things.

Cheers

>wait a month
>walk in casually to any retailer after sleeping in
>purchase in stock device
>carry on with your day

You would probably have to preorder the unlocked T-Mobile model since the SIM-free model is usually not released until a few weeks after launch in the US. The other carrier models require you to have an account with them. I'm not sure if they make you enter payment info when preordering for pickup or not.

For the last 3 or so upgrade cycles, I've always found the Apple App on my iPhone to come online soonest after the store is down. Preordering on there has been a breeze and I've been back in bed in about 5-10 minutes.
