I'm still new to osx. I have a few hundred pictures in iPhoto that I want to upload to facebook, but I want to reduce the file size and quality of all the pictures at once, what is the best way to do that?

Thanks in advance

are you sure that you need to resise the photos for facebook?
the facebook uploader for iphoto works fine for me. i think that it automatically resises the pictures. im not sure of that however.

what about resizing a batch of pictures at once for general use, any recommendations?
thanks

yes. just select the group of pictures you want and then go to File -> Export. you will get a panel that asks what file type (jpg), quality (medium), size (medium). that's usually pretty good for fb.

What you mean? It's only few days old thread and GGJStudios provided the info OP needs.

I know it's only 17.44 in Suomi, but are you a little bit sleep deprived?

BTW, welcome back, haven't seen ya for a while

Thanks, had to get some time off. I hope I will do that again. ;)

When I quoted you, I meant your reply, as this thread in here is a little bit old. Not that thread you linked too. But I should move on.

I hope you do it again as well. Soon.

I may have to take a little break now that you are back.

What about PRAM and SMC!?

But I don't know how to do that ...

And know, the more I have to repair and reset, the longer it takes for me to get lost again.

Or we could just ignore each other for the better and I leave the deeper seated problems, that aren't solved via disk permission repairs, to you, unless I absolutely know the answer, because I came upon it myself and/or have read about it.

But the getting lost part is still tempting, as this place is still (insert appropriate adjective here).

Or, or, we could communicate like those people on lamebook, that way, we can piss each other off like no one else.

But in the light of all seriousness and genuineness we can just learn to live with each other in the same town and just frequent different cafes and sometimes run into each other. And I don't act like a prick with newcomers or thread resurrectors, and you can live happily ever after in your universe.

Nonetheless, have a good day I suppose. :)

Most intelligent thing I have ever read from you. Kudos.
