Guys, I have 2 iPhones, 3 iPads and 2 iMac's. One of everything is mine and one is my Wifes.
In the past we just shared my iCloud account and configured iMessage for her phone number on her devices and my number for my stuff.
Since IOS8 and Yosemite it looks like sharing the iCloud account won't work.
So since we both share iCal and Contacts, I think the best way to configure the devices is as follows.
My devices log into my iCloud acct.
Her devices use a new Apple ID as her Primary account.
Only using Gmail and all other options deselected.
My iCloud acct as her secondary acct.
Selecting all options except Mail.
Is this the best way to sync?
Anther way I read was similar.
One Mother iCloud account.
A new Apple ID for me as primary
Mother iCloud acct as secondary
Same setup for my Wife.
I just want to make sure we can both sync Notes, iCal and Contacts.
Thanks
