Hello! I have a large amount of pictures I would like to "present" to some people in another location. Is there a way I can screen share my MacBook Air to an Apple TV, with those devices being in different locations?

-I want to control the photo slideshow, so simply sharing photos wont work.

That's a good question. You used to be able to do that via FaceTime. FaceTime Theatre, I think it was called, but I haven't had cause to use it in so long I'm not sure it still works.

Hmm, google search didnt come up with anything for FaceTime Theater. EIther way, I guess its safe to say thats no longer an option.

Wondering if this would work: Screen share my MBA to remote iMac, then iMac Airplays to Apple TV.

Looks like it got discontinued a while ago. Shame. It was a very good, if rarely used feature. The Apple TV just needs more video conferencing capabilities. Of course the lack of USB (or any physical camera inputs) necessitates some hardware updates for that to happen.
