What's the best way to load up wallpapers from your computer to the iPhone? I currently sync it from iphoto but I would rather not have the wallpaper picture in my rolls and photos in my iPhone. I would rather have my personal pictures and not random wallpapers pictures in my photos. Is that possible?

Thanks.

Doesn't seem possible yet. An image needs to be in your iPhoto library to sync over to use as wallpaper, unfortunately.

I love to be proven wrong, however. I too want to use certain images as wallpaper, but don't want to import it into my iPhoto library.

I set up a roll named "iPhone Wallpapers" in iPhoto, and whenever I download a new one on my Mac I just drag it (or them) to iPhoto, and then drag the newly imported wallpapers to the iPhone Wallpapers roll. That way all the wallpapers are together, and at least kind of separate from my regular photos. In iTunes, I have it set to sync specific rolls/albums, and my iPhone Wallpapers album is one of them.

I'm happy with the setup perosnally. Maybe this can help you out? Or maybe you mean you're already doing this... :p Heh

i agree with Sonic, this is what I do as well and it seems to be the best solution right now.

WallpaperSync

Hi guys (and gals),

I know this is an old thread but hopefully this can help some people.

We (at Skyriser Media) are working on WallpaperSync, a simple way of syncing wallpapers between multiple computers running Windows, Mac OS X and iOS (iPhone/iPad).

More info:
http://www.wallpapersync.com/

Right now only the Mac and Windows versions are out (beta), but we are working hard on the iPhone version.

Let us know if you have any suggestions or feedback.
Thanks!

Chris
