best way to track your laptop (lojack trackers)

so I have Orbicule's Undercover (http://orbicule.com/undercover/)
and i've had it over a year now - however, I am not sure about how good it is *luckily, i haven't had to test it*

I have recently seen lots of other programs so you can lojack your laptop in case it's stolen. Are any of you guys familiar with these programs?
