Hey All!

Just got my first Mac ever. Really loving the 11inch! It has the LG screen and samsung SSD for those wondering lol...

Anyway, I'm trying to transfer my music/movies/itunes collection over from windows 7 PC (or at least some of the files), but of course, I don't have a disc drive to burn a few DVDs to.

What's the best way to get the files over?

Any good free ipod to Mac transfer software? Or just try to hook up to the same network and transfer them?

Thanks!

exPOD can transfer music from an iPod, for free.
Do you have any kind of external HDD? If not, consider getting one, a 2.5" maybe, for backup purposes at least.

nah no external right now. I'd like to invest in one when I get some more money, but for now just looking for a quick, free solution.

If you have any other macs on a network that have your music you could just open up finder and transfer the files to the Air once it is also on the network.
