Hi guys,
I just got a new iPhone 4S and I'm wondering what's the best way to update all the contacts, media, and game data from my old 3G to the new phone.

Do I just sync it from my iTunes?
Shall I make a backup of the data using iPhone explorer?

I don't have iCloud on my 3G, and I've just been using iTunes to sync music and apps.

I've never done this before so your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!!

Do a backup of the 3GS.
When you activate 4S on iTunes, you are given option to set up from saved phone backup. Choose the 3GS backup.
