My local area does not have a few channels that I am looking for, but the next county over has them and a relative lives there and would not mind hooking a sling hd media player. What is the best way to get the content on my tv? Should I use my ipad and buy 30 dollar app and use air play, would this work good? or should I hook up my macbook to my tv via display port to hdmi adapter and then when mountain lion comes out I would be able to use airplay from my macbook. If they are both good I would mind having the app if its worthy.
