Im gunna say, leave it in your pocket, most people dont notice the little mic/clicker on it, so dont bring attention to it. Just my thoughts, and keep your hands ready to proteect your pockets.

I was thinking you just have to get a case with a golden grillwork flip open top and a bunch of Star Trek effects sounds as your ring tones. Then hang around Star Trek conventions and nobody will spot it...

I use my black jam jacket case.

I put it face down if someone is coming (let's say this is at school) and just part of my hand/finger over the camera area.
