Hi, I just searched "best weather app" and didn't find much. I also google searched "weather apps for iphone," but some of the articles are outdated. I plow and need snowfall predictions for my area (north of Boston), but would also like a good all around app as well. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good app that also gives precip conditions. Thank for your help!

Give AccuWeather a try. I think it might do everything you need. It has a good interface as well.

I have the weather app called 'Outside', it has a brilliant interface and push notifications for weather in your area.

Accuweather is terrible. I use MyCast and Weather Bug. I also use Radar Scope for radar images. MyCast is probably the best all-in-one app though.

ditto. mycast is great.

weather channel is crap. they've added a bunch of social features that no one cares for in a weather app...while neglecting some critical other features.

Weatherbug is terrible...cluttered and non-intuitive GUI.

I was using Weather Channel when I switched to Weather bug at the suggestion of others. Going back to Weather Channel app.

"The Weather" is my go to weather app. It's got everything I need in a weather app and it's only $.99. Also the icon is very pretty.

The Weather Channel MAX but just one I have always used, tried the free one then I bought the upgraded version.

thanks for your help. i spent a lot of time reading reviews (too many choices, of course), but you've helped me narrow it down to a few and i can dl them all and see which one works best now, instead of having to dl half the app store.

best,
z

I'm sure you are aware of this, put some of the apps that you
like into YouTube. This way you can see the apps in action.

Once I narrow the apps down, YouTube reviews usually seal
the deal for me.

Do a search on WSI in the app store....select any weather app for any TV station that they have. I live in NY and use their Fox12 app for Oregon....you can set your default location so it doesn't have to default to the app's "home" area.

I think it has the best radar map of any free weather app I've seen - way better (and more timely) than the weather channel app.

Check out Living Earth! It includes current and forecast weather for anywhere on the planet, but the best feature is that it's actually a (nearly?) real time view of the Earth from a weather satellite - showing all the weather worldwide as if a globe - but it's really the Earth. At night, you can see the Earth lights from the cities as well as the cloud cover, snow, etc. Absolutely stunning and beautiful!
