I´m using safari, but flirting with chrome. Which one is the best to use: battery wise, overall performance.

Firefox just burns everything up..

I've used Firefox for years but it has such a huge RAM consumption. I've never liked Safari on OS X but I have to say that it became a very decent browser. It makes things very convenient too as I am also using an iPad and iPhone. A very nice eco system.

Actually, the latest version of Firefox on OS X (without any additional add-ons or extensions) uses the least amount of RAM compared to Safari and Chrome. Especially if you use it in 32-bit mode. I would know, as I only have 4GB of RAM in my MacBook Air and have to monitor it constantly.

Safari has the best battery life of the 3 browsers though.
