best wifi router w/ excellent airPlay

looking for a new wifi box that has Excellent airPlay functionality?

only need an access point style box that i would hang on the wall middle of the house
no additional routing via ethernet connectors

sorry not into gaming but need good video audio streaming compatibility

for home use so no fans

What existing hardware do you have?

A poe access point would suit your needs perfectly providing your existing hardware is decent.

I've heard really good things about the Xclaim Xi-3 from a friend, and had a play around with his - seemed very good. I was going to go for it before I changed my mind and decided just to get an integrated wifi router. Plus nice and simple cloud management.
