I thought I would share this with all of you, I've been using this for a week now with my iPhone X and my Fiancé's iPhone 8 and it has been amazing. Super fast charging, and the quality is super good. The RAVPower one is being thrown around by websites as being quality and the best for the money, but I wholly disagree. This combo is by FAR the best for the money, and cheaper then the RAVPower!

Aha.. I thought that only Apple certified Qi chargers would fast charge the iPhone.
Not an expert here...But i would recommend to stick with reputable vendors for the FAST Charger versions. Anker, RavPower are solid. Never heard of the brand the OP is linking .

Agreed. I got the Ravpower which comes with the brick and supports the faster 7.5w charging for 33 bucks using the iDbsDeal promo code. Much more worth it than "Ugreen" and "Bonacell", never even heard of those brands in my life.

But do we know that the cheap qi pad OP mentioned does 7.5 watt? I was told that Apple wrote somewhere that you needed to buy a certified charger with then. Am I wrong?

Does that mean that it is certified by Apple, or that statements regarding the requirement of certification were wrong?
For Apple's version of fast wireless charging, you just need 7.5w from any Qi charger, once they implement the feature with a software update hopefully by the end of the year.

That is one thing i dont understand....
Once the update is out for the iPhone, I was under the impression that we will we be able to use fast charging with some specific ones. Not just any dock/puck.

Is the Mophie and Belkin just being advertised as a "certified model" so we buy those?

Or we can use any models that can go over 7.5w (i see most are 10w)
I see Spigen and RavPower also have a model with the iPhoneX "support"

It's just an advertising point. ANY Qi Fast Charger will work.

Well that is good to know!
I guess my ravpower standing dock will be even better now.

It can do 10w right now for android devices and i was happy with it keeping my phone topped off with the regular slow charging but if it can go higher thats greats news!

I hope there is a software indicator when a phone is receiving the wireless fast charge. Something simple like changing the battery icon to blue or in the default icon that comes up when it picks up a charging source have the words fast charging somewhere.

I think it should be available for all states no matter if its wired or wireless.

This is the charge I bought too and so far I like it. Really appreciate that the phone doesn’t need to be precisely place on it to begin charging. It has a rated out out of UP TO 10w as long as the wall charger you use with it supplies that much or more. Once the iPhones 8/8+/X get updated, they will accept 7.5w. And I agree, I hope there is some software indication on the phone that it is charging at the faster rate. Hopefully, we fill find out soon.
