Best wireless settings for 1st Gen Time Capsule?

just wondering what the best wireless mode is for the 1st gen Time Capsule.
Currently I have it on 802.11n (only 2.4 ghz). All of my devices are n compatible. There are a lot of other wireless networks around me. I was thinking maybe 5ghz only would be a better option but then I realized that the iphone 4 only did 2.4ghz.

If i do 802.11n (abg compatible) will this use a mixture of 2.4 and 5ghz or am I stuck to 2.4 ghz with this as well?

yes, because of the iphone, you're stuck with 2.4.

N (abg compatable) is the same thing as 2.4 N,

But you will be faster will 2.4 N than B, so the iphone doesn't slow the entire network down as much as it would if it only was BG

N operates at 2.4 or 5, the newer dual band units, actually have 2 distinct radios, as opposed to the older models which only have one that will do either.
