I know there are tons of threads talking about cases, but I couldn't find one that answered my specific question. Yes, there are many cases for the i4 but is there some kind of consensus what brand makes the best cases, and what brand to stay away from?

I have yet to find the best case but I'm hoping it's the SGP Ultra Slider.

Worst so far for me is:

Belkin Micra
Ivyskin Reception
SwitchEasy Nude

All feel cheaply made.

Element for price and the threads, and the otterbox for turning a great looking phone in to a cheap looking piece cut out of an old rubber boot.

I've got about 9 cases...vapor coming

Best is apple bumper with sgp films and skins

Worst is the rest :belkin, agent 18,marware,scosche,ivy skin, ebay junk

Incase snap and cimo case pretty good

I have a handful of cases. So far the Case Mate Gelli and Barely There are my fav.

Don't care for the Incipio Feather or Rocketfish.

Worst? anything that's a one piece silicon case.

Best? For me? Contour Showcase :D (Still freakin waiting for mine)

For the price, I have to say the Replicase is the best :) The Element Vapor looks amazing though.

So far I like the free Incase snap on case I got from the Apple program. Feels well made.

I did also try the Belkin Shield Eclipse, but returned it right away. Case felt cheap and did not fit well.

I'm now looking for a more "fashion" case.

Good GOD, I feel utterly fooled. I knew initially that the case would be fragile, that's fine. But judging from the angle of the pics, I thought it would be a fully body case. Not some lousy snap-in!

Atleast, you didn't strike out three times on cases that ended up being very similar to each other. :D

For me, out of: Griffin Reveal, Speck Fitted, Speck GeoMetric, Incipio dermaSHOT, Belkin Grip Vue, and Incase Snap...

Best: Incase Snap
This case feels great and looks great on the phone.

Worst: Speck Fitted
This case is extremely difficult to remove. After taking it off just a few times, the front piece split in two. It's a bad desgin, IMO, if you can't take a case off easily.

My 2nd favorite has actually been the Incipio dermaSHOT. It feels good, buttons are easy to press, and it offers decent drop protection.

Really like the Speck Candyshell so far. it's the newer one with the correct opening for the flash. At&t store.

Griffin Reveal is my favorite due to its size and protective qualities.

Incase Snap is junk in my opinion. The incase snap covers very little in comparison to the Griffin and doesn't seem to be very protective at all.

The 2 best cases that I have:
Belkin Vue (revised version)
Griffin reveal etched (free from apple)

Worse case:
Incase slider (scratched up the corner of my phone)
Apple bumper (returned the same day of iPhone 4 launch, nice minimalistic design, but offers no back protection and doesn't work with older iPod/iPhone USB cables)
