Is it any reliable or some kind of scam to get people into store?

Most of the time (almost always in last few days) it showed 5s GOLD unavailable when you check in store from its site.

Today, all stores in my area are showing.. "In store only" in inventory check status.

Any idea?

Call and ask your local store, they would know.

Are you clicking on the "check availability" link to the right of "In Store Only" and entering your zip code?

The "In Store Only" message comes up for every iPhone on the product page because you can't order them online.

I see "UNAVAILABLE" for all the stores in my area when I actually click on "check availability."

Definitely not reliable. A Best Buy near me listed a silver 16gb (12.92gb, really) 5s as "In store only" all last week. All other models were marked as unavailable. Every time I called and asked if they had ANY in stock, they didn't.
