Hopefully someone can help me
I Bought my new iPhone 17 pro max from Best Buy on launch day and traded in my iPhone 15 pro max. (Went true best by because I have there Total tech so I get Apple care + for free )
I paid cash outright for the phone but it is carrier locked to Att I was told I had to wait 60 days to unlock but if I called Att that they could unlock it to use the 2nd esim.
I called Att and they are saying (IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device)
They are telling me bestbuy has to unlock it and Best Buy says they don’t unlock phones carriers do that. I’m now worried that this phone will be locked for life with AT&T as I’ll be going round in circles trying to unlock it.
Anyone know how I can unlock this phone I have receipts showing it was paid in full.
