Anybody ever get best buy to price match microcenter. I have a microcenter close to my best buy, and I thinkive decided on the 13inch MBP that they have for 999. i would like to buy it at best buy for their no interest program on apple stuff right now

i got the same question that would be cool if they did i have 20% coupon to best buy so that would be a great deal to price match and get my 20% off!!

this is what i found at bestbuy website:
If you find a lower advertised price on the same available brand and model prior to your purchase or during the exchange and return period, we will match that price. Simply bring in the ad of the local retail competitor or Best Buy, while the lower price is in effect and receive your price match.

The guarantee does not apply to our competitors' website pricing and the guarantee does not apply to our or our competitors':

The PM worked fine and without issue at the Duluth, GA BB. There is a MC right down the road. I did it for the rewards points. I guess $1000 gets you a whole $20 back in rewards $s. :D I printed out the shopping cart from MC showing the $999 price.

Also have a look at the incase soft touch case for $50 that BB sells. I like it a lot. They usually have it in white, black and green in stock. I got the black.

I also got a price match at Best Buy with no problems as long as there is a micro center in the area. The extra $20 in rewards is nice also!! You also have the option to purchase their warranty which covers accidental damage if you prefer and any current special financing.

I tried with my local BB and frys but they gave me BS about them not being within 20 miles of them so I had to drive to the nearest MC.

Just my opinion but I'd choose Micro Center over a BBY any day. As for Fry's I would NEVER make a major purchase there. When the term "bad customer service" was coined I'm sure the originator had Fry's in mind.

Im going to go to Best buy and try this tommorow micro center is just too far

I dont think you will have any problems as most the managers at Best Buy just go ahead and give the price match if there is another microcenter in that city.

Price matching Microcenter's price at BBY is exactly how I got my MBP13, no hassles!

i went today and had a ton of problems they refused to match the price until i got upset and went off and then all the sudden they could match the price.

You did good!

Although I think that as long as your Microcenter is nearby enough and you can prove that they have one in-stock for $999, the BBY corporate price-matching policy should kick into place no problem. Obviously, those people who you were dealing with were just being disagreeable... Why they would be like that, I dunno... It's not like they have anything to gain by getting on your bad side on something like this.

In my case, the worker was totally cool about it and said that they do this all the time, no big deal... Sure he had to call the deputy manager over to okay the deal and the manager tried to look unhappy but it was clear to me that he didn't really care too much...

I do wonder if they still do this? I looked at the site, they match B&H, Amazon, Newegg..no mention of M.C.

I did get a Labor Day/Weekend sale email this morning from Micro Center for a nice deal on routers - same one I was looking at in Best Buy is $20 more. also $29.99 FireSticks, limit 2 per person (39.99 at Best Buy)

Micro Ctr. has a ton of Apple products which is why I love that store. I picked up an SS Apple Watch there in March for 200 bucks! - I do think tis may have been a big error on their part though, it wasn't on the site 3 hours later .But my local Best Buy, yeah they have new Mac computers..but has a terrible selection of Mac accessories.

The only location is about 30 miles from me - I know that doesn't sound that bad..tack on about $15 bucks round trip for the ever growing insane PA Turnpike tolls and an always unpredictable standstill traffic jam because this stretch has a lot of accidents)

I've had Best Buy price match a new 4K TV a while back against Amazon I saved $800! I am going to purchase a 2017 MacBook Pro 15" this weekend. Checking Amazon a few days ago, they had $140 off the 2.9GHz model. When I looked at Best Buy this morning, it looks like they are offering the same discount as Amazon. So no need in this instance for a price match but pretty sure they would have honored it.
