I just bought my first iPhone 5 which should be arriving next week and I want to get a case.

1. There are a billion case manufacturers out there but is there one particular brand that is unmatched in shock resistence & water resistence?

2. What's the best brick and mortar store to browse a ton of cases in person?

Life proof would be the best shock/water resistant case so far.

Best buy is probably the best place to look at a variety of cases.

I'd recommend an Otter Box case if you're looking for the toughest - but it'll be bulky. As far as stores go, maybe try Best Buy, although I'm not sure how many places are going to have a good selection of cases for the 5.

The answer is obvious. The Belkin Grip Candy. Or the Belkin Grip Candy Sheer if you like a translucent back.

If you are thinking of doing photos and videos and need a tripod case that doubles as a standard case with the ability to add accessories like a light
then I am liking the new Klyp from Manfrotto!
