It’s weird. My Waze freezes while I’m driving using CarPlay, and only updates my location when my iPhone is unlocked. This happened in beta 2. USB accessories accesss is on. Anybody else have this?

Beta 2, Waze doesn’t work on CarPlay unless unlocked...

Just tried it for the first time today (only use it when I drive into NYC because of the cameras LOL) and notices that it wouldn't update to my location. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and will check it out next time in car.
A few days ago Waze updated their app and it started working again. Then again I don’t know if it was the app or beta 1 issue
I'm having a similar issue. It'll freeze or show only a white screen until I open the phone, go to app switcher and force close out of the Waze app and then re-open it on my car's dash screen.

I noticed this yesterday when I used Waze in my BMW wireless carplay. Hopefully gets fixed.
I get a blank screen on my infotainment unit when using Waze through Carplay (Acura) (iOS14 PB2), I have to physically disconnect my phone and reconnect and then all is well. Happens every single time.
