Since upgrading to beta 3, when my screen sleeps, it sets the screen to maximum brightness - but the setting UI stays the same. So say I have my brightness set at 50%, after waking, I notice my screen is blindingly bright. When I go to the Display Brightness setting, it is still set at 50%.

If I move the slider at all, the brightness snaps back to the setting in the UI.

This is also causing battery drain obviously.

Anyone else having this issue? I've never had this happen before, and it only started happeing when I upgraded to beta 3 - it didn't happen in beta 1 or 2.

I haven’t had this happen, but when little odd issues like that come up, frequently a forced restart can help—volume up button, volume down, then hold side button in till screen goes black and Apple logo appears. I actually have a shortcut icon for this on my Home Screen so I can just tap that to trigger the restart without having to use the buttons. That will usually reset issues like this.

It happened to me with beta 1. I think I solved it by doing a forced restart (I think... I don't remember very well, but it solved it). I even opened a ticket with the problem.
