Beta 5: Control Center can't be invoked when keyboard is displayed

In beta 4 you could invoke Control Center when the keyboard was displayed (e.g., in Messages) if you swiped slowly and deliberately. Now, in beta 5, it appears that it can't be done at all. I've tried swiping both quickly and slowly, and I can't make it work.

there's a setting now that gives you the option of doing it in apps, perhaps yours is set to off maybe. *I haven't installed beta 5 yet, so I can't confirm if it changes anything.*

That does kinda suck because I sometimes need to pause music or turn the brightness up or down in the messages app.

Maybe the ideal setting would be a double swipe like in full screen apps.

Start your finger in the middle of the home button. Then swipe up at a normal speed.

Tried it 10 times, failed 10 times. Varied the swipe speed from super fast to super slow, and everything in-between.

But it looks like you're swiping diagonally from bottom left to upper right. Goes straight up from home button to FaceTime camera. (That direction not literally that far)

Can't get it to work that way. My motion is the same as using your thumb (for a right-handed person). I just used my index finger so I didn't block the screen.
