Just curious - to everyone in beta mode now, when the official release of iOS 7 comes out do you just upgrade like normal to the official release do you have to restore, etc.

Honestly my friend is a developer, he offered to add my phone - I did. I've enjoyed being a part of the beta but have no idea what happens when the official version comes out. Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, still navigating around here to find out.

Thanks.

If you run the GM when it comes out, it's highly likely it'll be the same build as the public release so you won't need to do anything. The GM is never sent out as an OTA so you'll need to obtain it yourself.

If there is a bug that Apple feels they must fix in the GM (usually has to be major), they'll release a new GM build. A clean install is only recommended if you're updating from a beta.

Just upgrade like normal, although some may advise a clean install after a beta incase of any bugs etc.

Doesn't really matter that much. Just upgrading should be fine.
