I'm a constant beta user - release after release and with that comes the risk of apps not working - that's the name of the game!
However I'm intrigued as to how regular beta users get on with any of the equalizers available in the app store (like Boom3D) - or open efforts like eqmac2.
I have a set of headphones for the office that aren't the best, but in particular are too bass heavy. I listen to spotify when I'm working (no internal equalizer) and I really need the bass lightened.
I mostly use eqmac2 which is .. well about the same on catalina as it was on mojave. It generally starts working - may quit at some point. It may keep the mac alive, or may die when sleeping or devices change. It does the job though.
I recently tried boom3D (before the beta) which was decent - even without 3D - but ££
So if I am to ££ it would make sense to chose a company/tool who generally seems to do better during betas.
Any recommendations?
