So should we expect a new beta every other Monday until fall release? How many betas do they usually go thru?

I'm pretty sure between beta 3-4 will be 3 weeks. Beta 1 was released June 10th, expire date was July 24th. Beta was out June 24th, was set to expire August 8th. 3 came out July 8th and expire date is August 29th. If the first two betas are correlated Beta 4 is coming out july 29th. Which is 21 days, aka, 3 weeks from now

It will be interesting to see if this potential pattern holds up.

In my opinion we will see eigh-- hang on, I'm getting a phone call

Yes, Tim?

Of course Tim.

I was just explaining that on Macrumors.

I'll let him know.

Tim says there'll be eleventy betas and they will be released at 9:41am every Monday.

are you sure there will be eleven beta's? that's quite a lot..

I'd say Monday based on past beta releases. Beta 3 of iOS 5, 4, and 3 lasted 11, 14, and 14 days respectively, while iOS 6 beta 3 lasted 21 days. Also, betas 3 and 2 came out two weeks after the last.

I haven't seen much discussion so I thought maybe I had missed something.

You didn't answer my question, so I will answer it for you.

No one on MR knows when ANY beta is going to be released therefore posts and threads asking when are pointless.

There is no 'schedule'. Apple will release each beta when they're ready, not just release one every 2 weeks for the sake of releasing a beta.

And as said before, the expiration dates suggest we will be seeing beta 4 in just over a week. I doubt anybody outside of Apple knows any more than we do.
