I live in midtown Atlanta, and I am getting more solid 3G coverage inside my apartment and around the neighborhood than either my old Pearl or the briefly tested Blackberry Bold (9650) on the Verizon network. Go figure.

I was expecting that when I switched to iPhone4+ATT that signal strength and call quality would be a sacrifice I will have to make for the iPhone. That does not seem to be the case here! I am very glad for that! Granted there will be areas where Verizon will have better reception, but the places that I frequent mostly, the reception seems stellar on the iPhone 4. Not a single fluctation - full solid 5 bars everywhere.

Also, the iPhone itself overall is working fabulously so far. None of the problems (screen coloring, call drops/quality, or heat issues) that have been mentioned so far. I picked it up this morning at an Apple store.
