better app hider than "poof"

trying to look for a better app hider.

whenever i install a new app, the hidden app shows up so i have to respring.

to the nosy peeps, i have legalmaps on my iphone, dont want anyone seeing that.

Open SBsettings, tap more, tap "hide icons"

Sometimes they will show up like you are saying, but its pretty rare, i.e. it hasn't happened to me in a couple weeks.

i do have that. under hideicons is "poof".

so if i remove poof, id still have the option to hide icons through sbsettings?

I just checked and mine says "poof" as well.

I think its a version of poof installed with sbsettings, so it should work if you delete "poof"


Kind of like how activator comes with sbsettings as well.

The problem with the hidden icons re-appearing when installing/updating apps is a bug in libhide, not Poof or SBSettings directly as they both use it. I hoped the update to libhide a few days ago might fix it, but appearantly not...
