Better availability at UK o2 or o2 franchise stores?

Does anybody have any insider information on whether there is likely to be any difference in stock levels between normal o2 stores or o2 franchise stores?

My thought is that normal o2 owned stores are likely to have more, but the franchises may have different purchasing power?

Places like Carphone Warehouse should have reasonable stocks. I to someone at the pub who works there and he said that at the iPhone 3G launch they had <100 iPhones at launch in the store...

I work at CPW and we aren't opening til 9, instead of 8 due to limited stock :/. o2 will be opening at 8 for the idea of iPhone 4 wanters etc will be dealt with between 8-9 o clock and then 9 on wards will just be usual stuff.
