Better Battery Life with 4.1?

I installed 4.1 on 3GS yesterday, and it feels like I've got better battery life or at least more accurate battery reading. After about a day of usage, i hardly used to get about 40% remaining at night, but today, I've got it on 54. Feels like a significant improvement. Anyone else?

I haven't installed it on my iPhone 4 because GM releases are very buggy. However, Apple stated that one of the improvements is "improved battery life across the board," or something similar.

You do realize that GM (Gold Master) is the final build of the OS? No changes or fixes will be made to the build that ships next week.

And Apple never said anything about battery life

yeah same here.

installed 4.1 GM on my 3gs and it seems to run a whole lot longer... which is a good thing because it would die a lot!

Hmm I'm getting worse battery life on my iphone 4. and no GMs can change like the ios 4.0 GM had gamecenter and was slightly laggy but on the actual
4.0 release gamecenter was gone.
