So I just trashed my stock headphones for my iPhone, and before I buy a new set, was wondering if anyone else makes a good headphone with mic and remote for the iPhone that will be better than the stock ones...?

I need the remote and mic though, as I use it all the time.

What fit? What budget?

I'm also looking for a pair w/ mic. I currently have the metro 200vi; got it when it was clearing out at $20; very adequate for my traveling needs and not afraid of a bit of abuse. (These are canal-earphones), and I'm looking for an over-the-ear or on-ear (like the B&W p5s) fit

I love my Ultimate Ear earphones, they sound great and have the mic and button to control ipod and calls. Ive had them for about 2 yrs without any problems. I even sweat them out while cutting grass and they are still kicking. Of course i did take very good care of them tho, I always stored them in the case that came with them.. They are a little pricey tho, i paid around $150

I have the Bang & Olufsen earphones. They sound much better than most I've heard and they actually stay on.

Klipsch s4i are excellent. Should be able to get them for $80-90.

This would be my recommendation as well. I don't have the "i" version so I don't have a mic, but the earphone portion is absolutely top notch. Add the Complyfoam tips and they're even better.

I was thinking about getting the ComplyFoam tips because my right ear canal will not make a tight fit like my left.
