I have the latest 15inch MBP.

Does it make any difference on my HDTV (picture wise) if I use the HDMI port or the thunderbolt port on the laptop? Just wondering if it's worth getting the adapter or not.

TIA

The adaptor would be going into hdmi cable anyway so no difference.

Use the HDMI. It is unlikely that your TV has a MiniDisplay Port. Sounds like the adapter you are thinking about would be a MiniDisplay Port to HDMI. In this case it would be exactly the same, so there is no point in buying an adapter.

Both send the same DIGITAL signal. With digital signal, it either goes through or it doesn't. There aren't levels of quality.

You will see no difference whatsoever between the two.
