I think Saft is ok, but its not free. All I want is some good control options of tabbed browsing in Safari. I know the programs are out there, but there are quite a few and sifting through downloads and installs is way lame. Any suggestions? I typically use one window with all pages opened in different tabs, I hate having more than one browser open at a time.

TEG: Well, to make sure everything opens in Tabs (i.e. links, other apps links, etc.). For some reason Safari insists on opening new windows for nearly all links that I hit. Particularly when linking from my iGoogle page to other sites (i.e. myspace, digg, APOD).

I have found with Google (gmail) the problem is how Google codes the links. The only way I've found to use it is to right-click and select a new tab.

If you follow the directions you can miss:

- Install SIMBL 0.8.2 or later http://culater.net/software/SIMBL/SIMBL.php

Once thats installed, make a new folder on desktop called SIMBL. Inside that make one called Plugins. Copy and paste the SafariStand.bundle file from the download into the plugins folder you just made.

Move that folder to Library > Application Support. Not Lib/App Support folder inside the user folder, just on the main root.
