Many of us are now familiar (and less than impressed) with the overly circular, overly large toolbar controls in macOS Tahoe.
But I've noted that controls for the navigation bar in Web apps (created in Safari by choosing "File > Add to Dock…" while a Web page is open), while equally circular, seem much more reasonable in their compactness.
I haven't found this control style anyplace else in the system, but it strikes me as more likely that this style of control exists at the system level than as something rolled out just for Web apps.
Has anyone found this toolbar button style anyplace else? Between the ubiquitous larger style and this more compact style, which do you prefer?
