A tip for those with Touch Bar MBPs - the latest BTT update added some cool 2, 3 and 4-finger swipes and widgets for the Touch Bar.

I am in no way affiliated with the BetterTouchTool - just a happy customer.

These gestures are really useful, for example, I set up Zbrush to change the brush size by swiping across the TB.

This just shows how the TB could be made into something great, if Apple invested some more time into it. Sadly, with all the negativity, they will most likely just abandon it completely.

The gesture is, actually, really useful. It is really easy to hit the TB with two fingers even without looking at it, and it's placed on a great place to act as a touch sensitive stripe, similar to those on Wacom tablets.

If I were Apple, I would let users assign one or two swipe-based actions to the TB (using the entire TB as a gesture area): resizing a tool in, say, Photoshop in this way is easy and intuitive and the experience can't be replicated (in the same way) with keyboard shortcuts. Since Apple won't do it, we have BTT - it literally is a game changer for TB users.

Anyway - for those using the TB, check out BTT.
