BetterTouchTool - Delay when performing tap actions

Hey guys, been using BTT on my old Snow Leopard mac since 2 years ago. Now here's a slight problem: I used to assign 3 finger taps as a middle click. However when I perform the same gesture, it seems that there's a very noticeable delay before the system does it's action.

Does anyone know how to fix it? It feels a little annoying

Have you tried using the latest version if you are not already? Developer seems to release alpha updates for the app "almost daily". You might want to give a shot an alpha release or contact the developer directly and report the issue. He might give you a better info why is this happening...is it the app itself, the OS or something else.
