Hello All,
Just wanted to let others know about a big rip-off being foisted off on customers of Intuit who are operating Quicken 2015 for Windows in VMWare's Fusion. The operating system is Windows 10.
This problem began yesterday. I have several linked Wells's Fargo banking accounts. In the past, I have always been able to download transactions for these accounts. Yesterday, Quicken began to report that one of the passwords for these accounts was not correct. Entering the password did not resolved the issue.
I spoke with Wells Fargo to see if there was an issue on their end. Wells Fargo claimed there was not and that I should contact Quicken Support. This morning I contacted a business that claimed they were Intuit support. They claimed they could fix, but only if I paid $50 to purchase additional software. I told them NO!
Just wanted others to know there are businesses out there that will attempt to put software on your computer with who knows what intended purpose. Make certain that you are calling authentic Intuit support.
Cheers,
Donald Barar
