Beware the To Do Tracker Widget!

Hi Everyone,

I just thought that I would warn you about the To Do Tracker Widget from Monkey Business Labs.

Tiger was running very slow and I opened up the Activity Monitor to find that the To Do Tracker Widget was eating nearly 1 GB of memory! (And I had only 2 short items on my little list!)

I closed the Widget and now everything is running fine.

Is this a common problem with Widgets? I just upgraded to Tiger and would like to know if anyone else has experienced that some of them somehow can eat that much memory.

You probably just mucked it. That happened with me and RabbitRadio.

I was looking at Activity Monitor the other day (before 10.4.2 update) and noticed that I only had about 70 meg of RAM available on a machine with 3 gig.

I listed all processes and noticed that the To Do Tracker Widget was consuming 1.6 gig of RAM by itself.

Memory leaks from people just jumping on the widget bandwagon...

Hopefully they will listed to the people downloading them and correct the issues quick.
