BF2 on Mac

Just wondering, since my favorite game is Battlefield 2, if anyone knows if BF2 is going to come out soon on Mac OS. I always used to play it at my friends house and I LOVED it cause it was just fun and I keep having dreams about me playing it on my new MBP Penryn and then I realize that it's not on Mac OS...
So if anyone out there knows of such a sweet thing, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

... and from what I read, EA should be busy fixing the bugs in that version too.

if you want it so badly, install boot camp and buy the PC version of the game.

I highly doubt it will be released natively for OS X. Why not just run it under boot camp? BF2 runs great for me in XP.
