I have a Presta valve with a core that's pretty badly bent. It doesn't leak, but I feel I should do a bit of preventive maintenance and replace it now. Having never done this before, I looked up videos and the process seems quite straightforward.

However, when it comes to ordering parts, I'm a bit confused. Some valves don't say anything about compatibility, yet other valves have compatibility lists like so:

Are there multiple kinds of Presta valves, and so I'd have to worry about compatibility? Or is there just one kind, and so some companies are just being overly descriptive?
