Hi there,

I just released Photo Measures and wanted to have some feedback from you guys.

The app helps you keep track of measures and dimensions. It's good both for professional purposes, and for when you just need to keep your home’s dimensions to go to ikea, move to a new place, etc...

The process cannot be simpler: take a photo and start jotting down the measurements.
You can customize the units, the colours, add text, and when you are done you can easily organize your documents, and even export them.

A video preview can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxjGWLCygPY
For the rest, just check the website at http://www.bigbluepixel.com

Big Blue Pixel is here to create useful, reliable and intuitive apps and Photo Measures is its first release.

I hope you will enjoy the app!

Great!

Hey!

I downloaded the app earlier today and it's awesome!! **
I especially like the zoom feature, I'm working on an art project that's full of details and I could not have taken my measures without it.

Overall, great job! *

Shame on you developer

It seams like someone stole the idea ?
I know for App My Measures & Dimensions and it is on App Store for more than a year.

So it looks like stealing to me SHAME ON YOU DEVELOPER !!!
I also think that developer of My Measures & Dimensions would not be happy when he finds out. I don't know about others but i will not buy it ! The original is always better than FAKE .

I agree and it is clearly the same idea as the other app.
But I tried both, and it is better than the original, so why should we complain? :D
It is always good for us when there is competition between developers.

Improving -- or just competing -- is OK by me!

Couldn't disagree more with these responders. Different apps along the same lines is fine by me.

I don't know much about either of these apps, so I can't say that the newer one is an improvement.

But I've got no problem with app developers creating competing products! How many To Do apps look almost identical? Cooking apps? Pitch pipe apps? Metronome apps? The list is endless ... and all of it is OK as long as no one actually stole code. Pretty hard to patent/copyright/trademark protect such a basic idea.
