I just thought of this-- for distributing a single, jailbroken app, couldn't you just open the source in Xcode and build it to your device?

Probably someone else has thought of this... and it doesn't work.

So I maybe could load Cydia? Probably not because of the chroot jail and all that -- cydia needs to access system files.

This is why your idea, while technically feasible, probably won't become a viable method of widespread app distribution anytime soon
