Just got this via email:

"We wanted to let you know that the price of your Nest Aware Plus subscription for Home will soon increase from $150 a year to $200 a year (plus applicable taxes)."

an additional $50 a year is a lot for the same level of service
 
I've been waiting for a reason to dump my Nest products. Thank you Google! And Apple, if you're watching, I would gladly pay you an additional $15 a month to give me full 24/7 recording with HKSV.
