I recently got a 12 mini as a gift and they love it.

Truth be told, I love it too. It’s literally amazing and maybe even the best iPhone ever.

It’s not even a phone really, it’s more like art. I can’t even bring give my endorsement on how wonderful it is.

Naturally, I want one. Maybe the blue color or the black one.

But then I realized I don’t know if I could. And that is for one reason:

iMessage

After counting today’s iMessages, it was 508 sent and received. That’s just one days iMessaging.

it’s really nice having a big screen for it. I use iPhone 11 Pro Max. Harder to iMessage on a small screen.

More screen real estate for me means less zooming, more content, less eye strain, better typing experience, etc. I’ve had the max sized phones since the 6s plus. I really can’t say how large is too large when it comes to phone size, but I don’t think I can go back to a small phone, and with Apple’s incremental increase in size from the 11 PM to the 12 PM makes it a non issue for me and feels like a natural progression.

I could never go small after having big screened phones for the past 4+ years. It’s so much better to have more real estate for browsing and media consumption. As the saying goes, go big or go home.

500 messages are you serious? Bored at work?

The screen is just your interface. Get the one you like best, everyone will be different.

The first large screen I had was the 6+... I use the phone for the screen more than making phone calls. If it was mainly used for making phone calls, I would go 12 mini.

The 12P gives perfect size screen and one handed use for most everything.

Another key reason for me... Real Racing 3

Wondering what else could be reasons other than the listed ones below?

1. Big screen real estate for browsing/video playback/gaming
2. Longer battery life
3. Much easier to type

I forgot about the battery life advantage! That is so true.

I think another thing is that I've just gotten used to it. Plain and simple. I'm just used to a big screen.

Prefer to have a real life myself l :)
We're at the same place same time Chill Out

And for the reason why I would be cautious about going small is cause I use a lot of entertaining apps on my phone and using a mini would somewhat change my screen estate so it would be different for me

But if I was to use my phone for contact only I would go with the Mini

12 Mini is just too small for me, and battery life is important for me and I don't want to be charging it on a daily basis. I prefer bigger.

Better Battery Life
Screen size for movies & reading on the go

Also, I’ve been a big phone user since the original Galaxy Note series and then switched to iPhone when the iPhone 6+ came out. Can’t ever go back to a smaller device

I have a work issued iPhone 7 and didn't like using it by comparison to my own iPhone 8+. I like using it even less now that I have a 12PM. Battery is never a worry, camera and larger screen. Makes typing emails, texts and everything much easier.

I don't even hit 500 text messages in two weeks! Geez!
