Big leap in difference?

So i wanted to buy the 21.5 inch base imac but im wondering if i should spend an extra £400 for the base 27 inch. The 27 would be great to use as my television + with my ps3, but is there that much of an improvement with performance?

They are pretty similar spec, so I would imagine that the performance is roughly the same.
