I have a strong feeling that when that page gets fixed, the part with the iPods in them, there will be something there nobody has ever seen before, or an iPod/iPod product with stats never seen at that price they will offer it at.

They must just not care to much..otherwise I'm pretty sure they'd have it fixed quickly.

But doesn't Apples site have to be taken down to change anything? I remember it was a while before they changed it from saying the low-end Aluminum Macbook had a baclit keyboard.

They do it for hype. Expect the site to go down tonight around 4 or 5 am PST.

And it's the QuickTime page...no one downloads QuickTime from that page anymore..

I think this one is more embarrassing than the iPod mishap. C'MON APPLE!

What's embarrassing about advertising OS upgrades for Macs that didn't originally come with that OS...

"Add a New Mac to your Mac" is the headline. Why show new models when you are marketing a product they already come with?

It's more of a "general purpose" OS X page, then a "please upgrade" one. I mean, the URL is, after all, just Apple dot com slash Mac OS X

Not a huge deal, but it's not particularly slick either. We just love examining Apple under a microscope. :p

The page is general purpose, for sure. The image and banner text seem to go together, and seem to say "Buy Leopard, it's like getting a new Mac!". I still am of the opinion that the older MacBooks fit perfectly with the message, and are intentional.

It could also be there to help show that Apple still wants to please customers with older hardware, not just force them to pay for new stuff to be treated well.

What I found funny is thy they call the iPod Touch the 'funnest' iPod ever. When 'funnest' isn't in the dictionary, or Apple's very own spell checker :p

you spelt finds wrong

i think you did it on purpose

well who goes to quicktime website?

its all itunes.com:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:
