Hello all,
The past couple of days have been very frustrating. In a nutshell my connection to the Internet from my iMac has become slow and spikes a lot frequently. I use the wireless from my 2008 iMac on osx 10.6.8, everything fully updated.
My local network is fine, I am able to connect to my router no problem and the Internet on other devices (iPad, windows laptop) from the same location is also fine. However my iMac just seems to keep dropping connection to the Internet (not dropping wireless) and timing out or lagging out.
Latency in games fluctuates slot from normal (50-60ms) to 1kms +. And the browser loads the first few pages of a website then grinds to a hault.
Not sure how to troubleshoot this so any help on how to start would be great. Thanks
G
