Big Noise

Hy,

i've just bought a G5 (dual 1,8Ghz), the HardDrive is very noisy( much more than the one in my pc), and the superdrive too, i'm just wandering if it's normal or not?Are the oders G5 so noisy too?

My Rev A. dual-2.0 is very quiet. Perhaps the drives seem loud due to lack of other noise?

I have a Rev B. Power Mac G5 1.8 here and the HDD is quiet, although sometimes I can hear (barely) it above the fans if I'm running disk utility or something like that. The Super Drive is no louder than any other DVD burner I've used on any other computer.

I have a Rev A 1.6Ghz and the HD is noisy. It pissed me off at first, but I've learned to live with it

What drive is it?

I thought most dirves where Seagte Barracudas in the G5, i could be wrong.
Anyway the Barracudas is know to be silent..
