EDIT: It has somehow gone green and fixed itself, idk what happened lol
Hi,
In a nutshell, I turned my AEBS and wireless modem off at the power point as I was doing some work on the two Mac Pro's at home and rearranging cables, as I've finished we've had a black out that lasted about one and a half hours.
Once the power came back on, I've turned everything on and the AEBS light is blinking amber, I realised I forgot to plug the wireless modem back into the wall, after plugging that into the power point I waited a while and then tried to connect to the internet and encountered this issue, in airport utility it says: "The AirPort wireless device has a private IP address on its Ethernet WAN port. It is connected to a device or network that is using Network Address Translation (NAT) to provide private IP addresses. You should change your AirPort wireless device from using DHCP and NAT to bridge mode.
However, this is not the case, our Wireless Modem has had the wireless part disabled by me, it's only acting as a modem, and I have confirmed this by navigating my browser to xxx.xxx.x.x which is my ip address for the wireless modem, so I can check all of it's settings, and NAT, DHCP, and the Wireless Interface are all off.
It was working before I unplugged it...
FYI, I have tried rebooting both devices. Pulling the power cords out and then putting them back in, I've changed the AEBS to bridge mode, and when I navigate to a website it just loads forever (since there is no device, as it says there is, that is managing that stuff, I've had the AEBS doing it for many months). I've even reset my AEBS and I've hit the same problem.
Cable from wall goes into our Wireless Modem and then ethernet from that modem goes into our AEBS.
Any idea's? (tethered to an iPhone to post this, FYI)
Kind Regards
